Marketing must make YOU money.

Yep that's right. We can talk about outcomes, patients and treatments but ultimately it's about business and profit. Yes money.

Put simply to make money takes money. YOU invest YOUR time, money, energy and sanity and in return receive money.

For small business there must be a return on YOUR Marketing investment.

We often talk about buying $50 notes for $20.

How many would you buy?

It's a simple example to illustrate that YOUR Marketing should cost something but always give you a return.

The more you invest, the more it should return.

Small business marketing often tries to copy big company marketing.

BUT it simply doesn't work!

 


AN EXAMPLE

To illustrate the point I'd like to tell you a short story -

Recently we put together and submitted a proposal to a new client for AUD$500,000.00 worth of marketing services. It was a large project and extensive engagement over twelve (12) months.

I was sharing this story with a friend (as you do) and he said "wow that's expensive".

This is the most common response to Marketing. It's expensive. Because the common thinking is that it's an expense.

So it depends on how you look at it.

If by spending AUD$500,000.00 dollars, it generates AUD$1Million in profits (not gross revenue) is it expensive?

NO.

No it's a great investment to double YOUR investment in twelve (12) months.
