2 WHEN TO HIRE?
In general as soon as possible after some review and assessment.
When YOU are beginning a new Marketing Program, we suggest that YOU hire when commencing a new Program so the new staff can be part of the process.

1 HIRE SLOW, FIRE FAST.
One of best pieces of advice when it comes to TEAM building is hire slow, fire fast.
In my observation organisations keep the wrong people around way too long.
Author James C. Collins talks about "getting the wrong people off the bus and the right people on the bus".

2 HIRE FOR CHARACTER, NOT SKILLS.
Another great piece of advice is hire for character, not skills.
Skills can be taught, character really can't be changed.
The strategy at Microsoft was to "hire for the company, not the role".
